Not only is turning into a frog no fun, but not having to turn into one because of a combat quest is even worse. If you’re having trouble with that Gongaga combat quest, the Malboro you’ll inevitably encounter, or just those damn frogs in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, this is the guide for you.

How to Get Rank 3 on Jumpfrog in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

You can protect yourself from Toad in two ways: by dodging its attack (such as Poliwag Punch, Toafrong Tune, or a Malboro Breath attack) or by using an accessory called a White Cape.

I'd say the attacks themselves are easy to dodge, just don't get too close and avoid the bubbles and mist attacks coming your way. But if you want to get in close and hack the frogs for some staggering, equipping a character with a White Cape is your best bet.
