Capturing Pals is one of the most important elements of the game, but it is not the only way to add Pals to your team. You can hatch them, including the powerful Shadowbeak, right at your base. To do this, however, you will need the right combination of Pals for Breeding and the right structures.
To start, you'll need to have the Breeding Farm unlocked and placed on your base. It's in Technology 19 and requires these materials to build:
Once you have built the Breeding Farm, make sure you have a chest with a piece of Cake in it, next to it. Then place a male Pal and a female Pal in it to start the process. The combination of Pals you can use to make a Shadowbeak is one Kitsun and one Astegon. After a while, the two Pals in the Breeding Farm will drop an egg for you.
