Task Manager provides an overview of what apps and processes are currently running and how much hardware each is using, namely the CPU. Task Manager’s functionality is fairly basic, but still useful if you want a basic idea of what’s going on.

Open Task Manager. The fastest way is to press Ctrl+Shift+Esc on your keyboard.
