How to Clear the Command Prompt (CLS) Window Screen
Unlike many things on your computer, there aren’t multiple ways to clear everything from the Command Prompt. Instead, there’s one basic command that clears the screen of its history.
When you're ready to erase everything in the Command Prompt so you can start fresh, type the following command and press Enter:
The only other way to clear all text from the command prompt is to simply close it. If for some reason you can't run the CLS command, close the program by typing exit or pressing the X at the top. Then reopen the command prompt.
