When you first install apps on your Mac, you typically do so using a special program called an installer, which comes with the app download. Likewise, you can use an uninstaller when you need to remove an app, especially one that can’t be removed.
There are two types of uninstallers: uninstallers that come with the apps you install and can only remove that app, and universal uninstallers that remove any app.
If the app you want to remove has an uninstaller, you can find that uninstaller in the folder for that app. Launch the uninstaller and follow the on-screen instructions.
