How to Downgrade Windows 11 to Windows 10

Windows 11 brings with it a lot of new features and components, but you can choose to go back to Windows 10 if you don’t like those changes. Or maybe you’ve tried to make Windows 11 look like Windows 10, but it’s not quite the same as the real thing.

Regardless of your reasoning, there are several ways to complete the downgrade. We’ll cover both ways to downgrade here, though the biggest difference depends on when you upgraded to Windows 11.

If you upgraded within the last 10 days, your computer still has a copy of Windows 10 stored on it; you can easily roll back to Windows 10 without having to create new installation media. Unfortunately, if it's been 10 days, that copy is no longer available, and you'll need to perform a clean install to downgrade from Windows 11.
