Animal Well is an absolute 10/10 masterpiece
After the credits, Animal Well offers a hidden depth that turns it from a seemingly closed story into a mysterious quest for the true ending. However, getting out of the well in the game is not that easy. You have to do some exploring, find some tools, and collect a lot of secret eggs.
Okay, so you’ve been busy collecting eggs and equipping yourself with all the necessary tools like the B. Ball. Now that you have all 64 secret eggs in Animal Well, head to the egg collection room where you dropped off your finds. It’s subtle, but look for a door that bursts open in the left corner. Go through this door to discover a chest containing the final, crucial 65th egg.
Take this special egg back to the creepy room where you fought the Manticore earlier. This time, focus on the left side of the room under a mysterious blue light. Use your UV lantern here to reveal a sketch of a Top. Activate the Top in this spot and watch as a hidden door slides open, luring you into new, unexplored depths.
