Manor Lords enhances the city-building experience with Visit Mode, which allows players to view the city from a third-person perspective. Players can walk through the city’s population as themselves, check out the marketplace, visit the Logging Camp, check out construction work, and even walk up to your troops before they go to war. If you’re wondering how to play Manor Lords in third person, this guide is all you need.

How to Enter Visit Mode in Manor Lords – Walk through the village from a third-person perspective

The Visit Mode mechanic allows players to change the camera angle, and while it’s pretty simple, players can totally miss it. Explore the world you’ve built by stepping into the shoes of your lord with this feature. There’s not much you have to do, but we recommend using this mode after you’ve completed a certain part of the build.

To play Manor Lords in Third Person, you need to select the Eye icon in the upper right corner of the screen, next to the Character Portrait. Once you do, Visit Mode will be activated and you will be presented with a prompt. Confirm the prompt and you will be transported to your settlement grounds.

There’s a lot of exploration available for players in third person, so it’s best to use this feature after a while so you have more places to explore. If you want to switch back to the original perspective, you can just hit the button again and the game will do the rest. While more features are being added to Visit Mode, we’ll have to wait and see if they’ll be made available in Early Access or with the full game release.
