To feed the creature, you need to give it a Basic Fodder by pressing Action near it. You can make a Basic Fodder in a Fodder Oven, which is one of the first structures in the game. Fodder Oven is one of the easier structures to craft, right after the Oil Presser. It can craft Fodder items that you can use to feed the creatures. To craft a Fodder Oven, you will need the following resources:

Plant Oil is the only resource that needs to be crafted, and you can do this in the Oil Presser using five Plant Fibers. Once you've crafted a Fodder Oven, you can make some Basic Fodders.
