When you're trying to find your real father in Five Nights at Freddy's: Into The Pit, you think you can lure a creature out with a slice of pizza. Unfortunately, Jeff won't give it to you, but if you can find a way to distract yourself, you can steal a slice of pizza.
Find a way to distract yourself: FNAF Into the Pit
You will encounter this puzzle during the second night, when you are initially trying to track down your father. You will be jumping back and forth between the present day Jeff's Pizza and the pizzeria from the past. You must find sources from both time periods and bring them together, and solve the puzzle so that you can further explore this area of FNAF: Into The Pit.
After Jeff refuses to give you a slice of pizza, head outside Jeff's Pizza and head to the Mill. This is another part of town in the middle of the map. When you arrive, head to the center of the screen, where you should find a rat trap on the ground. This is essential for causing a distraction, something you won't find anywhere else in Into The Pit. It's similar to escaping your house, where you have to maneuver around the area to find specific items.
Once you have the rat trap, head back to Jeff's Pizza. The real reward for your distraction will be in the ball pit, in the past. Head to the ball pit and transport yourself to Fredy Fazbear's Pizzeria, where you need to go to Party Hallway. A rat should be running around the middle of this location, close to the entrance to the food area. Find a spot on the ground where you can set the trap, then head to the storage room where you will hear a popping sound when you catch the rat. After you have caught the rat, it is time to return to the ball pit and Jeff's Pizza.
