June 2024 saw the reintroduction of The Center for Ark: Survival Ascended players to experience. Featuring a larger map than both The Island and Scorched Earth, The Center is packed with content, including many cave locations and Giant Beaver dam hotspots.
One of the biggest points of interest (as always) is the creatures involved in The Center. The full dino list is always handy to have on hand, but the new Pyromane has sparked a lot of discussion about the future of ASA.
The only way to encounter a Pyromaniac in Ark: Survival Ascended is to first pay to have the creature added via premium DLC—specifically, $4.99. The creature won’t appear on The Center map until you’ve done this, and it’s typically found on the island to the northeast of the map—according to YouTube creator Syntac.
