The Minigun sneaked into Fortnite after the game's long-awaited Fall Guys collaboration arrived in the August 6 update. Epic Games released the weapon to brighten up the last few days in the Wasteland.

With the recent v30.40 update, one of Fortnite’s oldest weapons is back in action, and players are using it to its full potential. The menacing weapon uses light ammunition to destroy enemies and structures, and has a massive magazine that’s enough to take out anyone who stands in its way. The weapon was teased earlier this season, but hasn’t appeared on the island until now.

The Minigun can only be found in chests and ground loot. Unlike a few weapons in Fortnite, you can’t purchase it from an NPC character, leaving you at the mercy of the RNG gods to find it. You can, however, increase your chances of finding it by dropping it at key points of interest like Pleasant Piazza or Reckless Railways, where there are plenty of chests to open.
