Troubleshooting WiFi Connection Issues on Your Chromebook

Try the following steps in the order listed until your Chromebook can connect to the Internet:

Look for a Wi-Fi switch. Some models have a physical switch that turns your Chromebook’s wireless connectivity on and off. Make sure it hasn’t accidentally been turned off.

Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on. Open your Chromebook’s settings and under the Network section, check to see if the switch next to Wi-Fi is turned on. You can also select the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen to view your connections.
