Here's how to fix the 'can't access Rift Anchor' issue in Once Human.
Since Rift Anchors are tied to the main story, the "Rift Anchor cannot be accessed" issue occurs when you try to open one without being far enough into the game's story. This prevents you from opening and completing a region's tasks. Since you can freely explore the map, you can easily run into this issue. Additionally, Rift Anchors must be unlocked in order to access each region's Monolith and fight the main boss.
To fix this issue, you’ll want to focus on completing excellent main story missions. These missions are crucial to unlocking the region’s Rift Anchor. You’ll find these missions on the map and in the quest section of the tasks tab, labeled “Follow The Stardust.” Each mission has a recommended level, but they can be played at any time.
