Making medicine in Palworld can be quite time-consuming. However, if you have a Medicine Production Pal assigned to your base, you can speed up the process. But first, you need to find and capture one.

Friends with the Medicine Production Work Suitability can operate the Medieval Medicine Workbench and craft various types of medicines. These medicines cure ailments that your friends may occasionally contract, such as the Weakened, Depressed, or Overfull effects. However, not every friend has the Medicine Production trait, so you'll need to know which ones to catch if you want to staff your own clinic.
The Medicine Production trait is represented by a green bowl icon on a Pal's details page, as shown in the image below. The level next to it indicates how proficient that species is at the task; higher levels mean that the Pal's work speed is increased while performing that particular task.
Like the Lumbering and Kindling traits, only a handful of Pals in Palworld have the Medicine Production skill. Most of these Pals are Grass-types, which makes sense given their connection to herbs and medicinal plants.
