Radiolite samples are a new type of item you can find while playing Destiny 2. They appear before activities surrounding Failsafe and the Episode: Echoes, in which Failsafe attempts to sample Nessus to learn more about the Vex threat.

Multiple Radiolite samples may appear throughout your playtime. How you obtain them can be confusing and it’s not a simple process. Once you understand it, things should become clearer for you as you play Destiny 2, but it can still be tricky based on the process. Luckily, you can work with your Fireteam to get the job done.
Three types of Radiolite can drop while playing Destiny 2's Arena: Breach Executable activity, where they drop. This activity becomes available as you work through the Episode Echoes quest and work with Failsafe to learn more about the disruptions on Nessus. Instead of obtaining these Radiolites as drops from enemies, they appear as samples that you can extract.
You will not receive a quest marker or indicator if there is one nearby. Instead, you will need to visually see if there is a Radiolite nearby when you are collecting data against the Vex. This usually happens at the most inopportune times, usually while fighting the Vex. The samples will have the same base around them, and the sample will be in the middle. Approach any of these available samples, interact with them, and they will be added to your collection. Once you collect at least 200g of Radiolite, return them to Failsafe to earn your reward.
