It’s worth keeping an eye out for Bones, as they’re currently the only currency accepted by the Wretched Broker you’ll remember from the first game. By using this shadow’s services, you can convert Bones into more valuable resources like Fate Fabric and rare reagents, with his supply of goods expanding as you progress.
Like the other lower sources, Ashes and Psyche, Bones can be found by completing encounters marked with their sigil. After completing most of the encounters, you will be given a choice of where to go next. Each path shows the reward you receive for completing that encounter, so naturally you will want to head to the doors that show the image of Bones.
This isn't the fastest or most reliable way to collect bones, as it relies largely on chance, but it is the best option early in the game.
