Cloudstrike has come a long way since Beyond Light. While it’s always been a solid option, and occasionally a bane for Trials players hitting the middle lane in Endless Vale, Cloudstrike has received a few buffs and a catalyst that make it an even better weapon to get. And if you’re lucky, that might not last long.

Cloudstrike got a boost in Season of the Seraph, more than two years after its release. Players lucky enough to get their hands on it can add Triple Tap to the rapid-fire sniper’s repertoire. The Season of Defiance midseason patch also improved rapid-fire snipers, giving them more reserves and less recoil. It was plenty deadly upon Beyond Light’s release, as anyone who wasn’t dual-slugging Taniks that year will attest, but the extra firepower makes it a worthwhile weapon to add to your arsenal.
