The Mask of Constraint is one of the rare materials in Wuthering Waves that allows you to upgrade your weapons and level up your resonators.

It’s one of the more accessible basic materials you have in Wuthering Waves, making farming easier early on in the game. Once you’ve got enough, head to the Synthesizer in the border city of Jinzhou and use them to craft even higher-tier items, like the Mask of Erosion, a requirement for higher-level weapons and resonators. But where can you find the Mask of Constraint in Wuthering Waves?

The Mask of Constraint can only be obtained by eliminating Fractsidus' active cult members. They are not found in a specific spot on the map: instead, you have to look for them in the open world when they are having a skirmish with Jinzhou's soldiers outside the city. Keep in mind that you should not mix them with Exile members, because they look the same. The red colored costume symbolizes that these people belong to the Fractsidus clan.

While following the main quest of the game, you will have to go with Yangyang to Qichi Village, where you will meet Scar, who will have you fight some members of the Fractsidus cult, such as Thruster, Cannoneer, and Gunmaster. Once you defeat them, they will be added to your Echoes, where you can track their location on the map.
