She spawns every 45 minutes, so others will probably defeat her before you, but you can jump to private servers for consistency when grinding.
Also, if you fight her with other players, the one who dealt the most damage will get the fruit. Another way to get the Mero devil fruit is to craft it from the crafting vendor in the main lobby.
