Solar Fusion Energy is a source in Pokémon Go for fusing Necrozma with Solgaleo to create Dusk Mane Necrozma. It’s the only way to obtain the light-consuming combination of Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Go, and it’s not an easy item to obtain. Much like Mega Energy or Primal Energy, the ways you obtain Solar Fusion Energy are very limited—and here’s exactly how to collect it.
Solar Fusion Energy is available through only a handful of activities in Pokémon Go. The main way to earn Solar Fusion Energy is by completing raid battles, specifically those involving Dusk Mane Necrozma. You won’t be able to earn enough from just one or two raids. If you want to fuse Necrozma and Solgaleo into Dusk Mane Necrozma, you’ll need a fair amount of the resource.
Starting with the various in-person events of Go Fest 2024, Dusk Mane Necrozma will appear in five-star raids. Beating any of these raids during the event or in the future will reward you with Solar Fusion Energy, just as you’d get Mega Energy for completing a Mega Raid. At the same time, Special Research will also be available, allowing players to choose between Lunala and Solgaleo, which will reward them with Legendary Pokémon encounters and their respective Fusion Energy.
