The Warframe development team is constantly hard at work to keep players on the edge of their seats with new items, weapons, and currencies to unlock. The Vestigial Motes give you the chance to unlock various items and blueprints that you can use in your arsenal.

There’s a specific way to collect this precious resource. But since there’s only one way to get Vestigial Motes, your options are limited. For many Warframe players, it’s a case of getting back into the grind to unlock these items, which offer various rewards if you earn enough.

Vestigial Motes are a guaranteed reward for Warframe players when taking part in Ascension, a new game mode added alongside the Jade Shadows update. For those on the hunt for the various Jade Blueprints and component pieces, Vestigial Motes will be your primary source for earning these components.

You can start this game mode on Uranus at the Brutus Node. However, you can only do this after completing the Jade Shadows quest, which you can do after working through The New War Quest series. If you haven't reached this point in the main Warframe story yet, refocus here before attempting to unlock Jade.
