Outposts of Vulgus Strategic Outposts are zone recon missions in The First Descendant that you can unlock after progressing through the main story. Each zone has one Outpost, and if you're just starting out, the first Outpost is in Kingston, just north of The Fallen Theater.
Simply walk in and start shooting enemies to start the mission. Your goal is to destroy three power units at the Outpost (marked with the letters A, B, and C). While you can run in, we highly recommend killing the trash mobs first, as they can overwhelm you, especially on hard difficulty. An easy way to defeat all the enemies without shooting them is to use Bunny.
After destroying the power units, an elite enemy with a yellow health bar will appear. Take out the elite and the mission is over. This whole process takes less than two minutes and the outpost has a one minute cooldown, so you can farm it very quickly.
