A geeky trick that will speed up your reading/writing skills
What is RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10?
When my dad told me he was running his computer in Raid 0, I was confused as to why he would want such a setup. As far as I knew, running a Raid setup was outdated and complicated to set up. So I did my research.
There are significant benefits to running your computer in a raid configuration. The most common raid configurations for home use are Raid 0 and Raid 1.
Raid 0 offers better performance because it focuses on distributing data evenly across multiple drives (instead of using one drive as a backup). This will significantly increase the read/write speeds of your machine.
