Wuthering Waves fits neatly into the popular open-world, action RPG genre, which is built around gacha mechanics and an anime aesthetic. But if you really want to get the most out of its fast-paced combat, there are a few things you’ll need to work around to unlock the game’s framerate.

How to Unlock FPS in Wuthering Waves (120 FPS Tutorial)

Regardless of the platform you play Wuthering Waves on, the game will suffer from periods of lag or performance stuttering. There is also an issue with FPS, meaning you will be capped while playing. There are ways to uncap Wuthering Wave's FPS, though the methods are more of a workaround than an immediate fix.

If you want to increase the framerate in Wuthering Waves on PC, you'll need to use a third-party app or program to bypass the game's limitations.

During the beta, developer Kuro Games offered players the option to hit up to 120 FPS if their device could handle it. Unfortunately, the higher FPS setting caused visual issues and stuttering during testing, so it was disabled ahead of the full release. It will be re-enabled in a future update, but you can still bypass the FPS cap using external methods.
