A city builder means that you will often build a structure in the wrong place and have to rebuild it in a different location. There are a number of factors to consider, such as soil fertility, distance to the job, water sources, natural resources, and more. If you have built a structure in the wrong place, this guide will help you move buildings in Manor Lords.

How do I move a building in Manor Lords?

While some structures can be easily moved, many of them will need to be demolished and rebuilt. While it is somewhat time-consuming, it is a necessity as it is impossible to plan everything down to the smallest detail from the start. Whatever the cause, players will need to learn how to move their buildings when necessary.

To move buildings in Manor Lords, click on the building to open the primary menu options. Look for the Move button, which can be deduced by the arrow cross symbol in the upper right corner. You can then move the building to the new location you select and then assign a family member to work on the construction. Players can move Logging Camp, Sawpit, Woodcutter's Lodge, and Forester's Hut.

Structures such as Burgage Plots, Storehouse and a few others cannot be moved to a new location. Players will have to demolish buildings and then rebuild them manually. Since building materials are returned to the inventory, players will not find the cost to be an issue. Select the building you want to demolish and then look for the Demolish icon in the upper right corner.
