Of all the FF7 Rebirth characters, Aerith is the most difficult to survive in the early going. Her affinity for magic makes her weaker when it comes to physical attacks, and she also doesn't take damage well. Aerith launches magical attacks from a distance, and she can chain magical attacks and unleash magical combos.
In Rebirth, Aerith can perform Tempest by holding down the Square button instead of Triangle. Tempest creates a prism-shaped object that explodes after a few moments. Landing Tempest gives Aerith a large ATB boost and also enables a Fleeting Familiar summon. This summon strengthens Aerith's attacks and also attacks targeted enemy units.
