Yes, skin renting in CS2 became available on May 23rd with a major patch. Instead of trying your luck and seeing what you would get from a case, you can choose to rent all the skins from the case, except knives or gloves, for a single week.
Rented skins cannot be traded or sold and expire after the seven day period. If you're not sure you want skins from a particular case, this is a good way to try them out.
