Of the many characters you can make your Veiled Vow with, the cat-loving daughter of the Satsuma clan was my favorite. So, here's how to romance Princess Atsuko in Rise of the Ronin.

Rise of the Ronin isn’t just about choosing the best weapons, it’s also about choosing the right partner to make a Veiled Vow with. In order to seduce Princess Atsuko, you’ll need to increase your Favor level with her, and there are several ways to do that. You can do Bond Missions that are directly associated with Princess Atsuko, give her Gifts, or increase your Bond level with Positive Discussion. Once you’ve increased your Bond level enough, the two of you can start a relationship by making a Veiled Vow.

You can increase Princess Atsuko's Bond level by completing the main story missions and doing special Bond Missions just for her. There are two Bond Missions for Princess Atsuko, and you can unlock them after completing specific main story missions. After completing Reinventing the Shogunate main mission, you will unlock the Ideals and Reality Bond Mission featuring Atsuko. You can also unlock The Road to Resolution Bond Mission by completing the Patriots' Reward main story mission.
