Taking a screenshot on an iPhone is pretty simple: just press and hold the Volume Up and Side buttons at the same time until you see a preview of what’s on your screen. But what if you want to capture something that’s larger than your screen – say, a web page you’re scrolling through or a document you’re reading?

Luckily, Apple offers a native tool on iOS to take scrolling screenshots, and you can enable it just like you would a regular screenshot on your iPhone. In this post, we’ll explain how to take scrolling screenshots on iPhone and where to access them.

You can take scrolling screenshots on an iPhone when you're viewing a web page, document, or email on your screen. You can take screenshots of web pages on both Safari and Google Chrome, but this functionality has yet to be supported in Firefox and other web browsers.

Similarly, you can take scrolling screenshots for emails in Apple Mail, but it doesn’t work in Gmail or other mail apps. As for documents, scrolling screenshots can be taken of any vertically loading files and images, including Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and other natively supported Apple apps. You can’t take scrolling screenshots in the Settings app on iOS.
