To set a YouTube video as your wallpaper, for example, the process is simple: install Lively Wallpaper and open the app. You’ll be presented with a small window with pre-loaded animated wallpapers to choose from. You can simply grab one—some even include customization options—or make your desktop your own by clicking the Add Wallpaper button.

This will open a new window with a section where you can drag a file to upload, an option to choose a file, and finally the option to enter a URL and set it as your background.
