To be fair, bugs like these are bound to crop up whenever a company pushes out updates for an operating system that runs on PCs with wildly varying hardware configurations and capabilities. Microsoft is usually quick to patch some of these issues, but sometimes you need an immediate fix if you’ve pulled the trigger and messed up your system.

If you act quickly, you can completely undo major Windows updates. You only get a 10-day window after installing the latest version of Windows, so act quickly if your system starts having major problems.

Open the Windows 10 Settings menu by clicking the gear icon in the Windows Start menu or by pressing the Windows+I keys.
