The Binding Blade DLC for Darkest Dungeon 2 brings two new heroes to the game. However, only the Duelist is available at the start, so here's how to complete The Lost Crusade quest and unlock the Crusader class.
How to Unlock Crusader | Darkest Dungeon 2 Binding Blade DLC
The Crusader class must be unlocked by completing a quest called The Lost Crusade. When you arrive at the first inn, you will receive an item called the Battered Helm, a trophy that you must place on your stagecoach to start the quest. This will be a bit more difficult, so it is not recommended to attempt it if you are still familiar with Darkest Dungeon 2.
There are seven levels you must complete to complete the quest. However, if you lose or abandon the expedition at any point, you do not have to start over. You will begin your next run in possession of the last item you found, allowing you to pick up the quest where you left it.
As long as you have the Battered Helm Trophy on your stagecoach, there is a chance of a barricade encounter occurring.
