How to Manually and Automatically Update Apps on Fire TV Stick & Cube
The easiest way to ensure that you always have the latest version of your apps is to turn on automatic updates, but you can also update them manually. If you have sideloaded apps on your Fire TV, you can update them using a third-party program on your computer that connects to your Fire TV.
If you enable the automatic app updates setting on your Fire TV, you won't have to manually update your apps.
From the home screen of your Fire TV, select Settings (gear icon) on the far right of the horizontal menu.
