Once you have established your primary base in Palworld, the first thing you will want to do is assign your captive friends to certain jobs based on their suitability. Oddly enough, however, you will sometimes find that they will not automatically work on something as they should, and some may not work at all. In cases like this, you may sometimes want to physically tell them what to do after you have deployed them to your base.

How to use Pal to work on your base in Palworld

That being said, there are quite a few things to consider, including the fact that they have their lunch break on time and interrupting it might not be the ideal thing to do. However, if you notice that your friends are slacking off and ruining your base productivity, and aren’t looking at you on Depresso, you can get them to do the task you want without any hassle.

To command pals to work in Palworld, you first need to deploy them to your base using the Palbox. Here are the steps you can follow to do so:

If you still see them wandering around, you can tell them specifically what to do by picking them up and dropping them in front of the task. As weird as it sounds, it’s the easiest way to put your friends to work specifically. To pick them up, simply walk up to the friend who’s walking around and you’ll be given the option to pick them up (F on the keyboard).
