How to Use Recovery Mode on Android

Recovery Mode is a tool that comes with Android devices that allows you to fix issues that cannot be fixed by other means. This mode also allows you to reset your Android device to factory settings. You can access this mode by pressing a specific combination of physical buttons on the phone or tablet when the phone is turned off, which will boot the phone into a special mode.

The standard key combination to enter Android Recovery Mode is to hold down the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time while the phone is powered off, but some manufacturers use alternate keys. This typically opens what's known as the bootloader, allowing you to select Recovery Mode from a list of options.

After rebooting, your device will load a very basic text interface instead of the normal Android interface you normally use. The Recovery Mode screen will typically contain some information about your device and version of Android, along with some troubleshooting and repair options.
