In iOS 15.1, Apple introduced the SharePlay feature, which added a host of content sharing options to FaceTime, allowing users to watch movies and TV together. Now, in iOS 18, Apple is expanding those options to include screen sharing and even the option to hand over control of your screen to others in your conversation. Here's how to use it.

First off, SharePlay’s newest features are currently only available as part of the iOS 18 (or iPadOS 18) developer beta. More specifically, you’ll need to have at least beta 2 or later installed to take advantage of the new features, as Apple only recently made them available.

I recommend installing these betas only on backup devices, as they can cause instability on your main device. Once you have a device that you can install a beta on, follow these instructions to install it.
