The Excel Quick Analysis Tool

The Quick Analysis Tool transforms the way you perform data analysis in Excel. This Microsoft Excel feature gives you easy and quick access to various analysis options. With just a few clicks, you can transform your data into concise and pivot tables, sparklines or charts.

Most Excel functions are easy to find on the ribbon or in the menus. The Quick Analysis tool, however, is different. It is a discreet function that reveals itself when you make a selection of the range of cells. So go ahead and highlight the range of cells you want to work with.

Do you see a little box with a lightning bolt icon in it? It’s in the lower right corner of the selection you just made. That’s the Quick Analysis button. When you click on it, a menu will open and you can choose different features.
