You can do a rematch immediately if you lose this battle in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, so don't worry. It won't affect the main storyline. However, to win the first time, you'll need to follow this strategy.

There are a few important things to note when starting the battle:

Start the battle by having Nowa and Ymir move forward first and Sabine hold her ground. You want her to defend the center, but she can't move forward directly. There won't be a fight yet.
