In general, EVs can and do well in all weather conditions. Some weather conditions, just like with gasoline vehicles, mean that EV owners need to pay a little more attention to how they drive and conserve battery energy.
For example, EVs work better in extreme heat than in cold, because cold enough weather will temporarily reduce the capacity of EV batteries. However, running the air conditioning in hot weather can also reduce overall range.
