HP's latest laptop is also the lightest laptop ever, and you'll be able to pick one up soon.

HP Aero 13 review – A thin and light gem!

Starting at just $749, the HP Pavilion Aero 13, which weighs less than 1 kilogram (under 2.2 pounds), appears to be the company’s lightest consumer laptop to date and features the first all-magnesium-aluminum chassis for the line. It’s compatible with Windows 11 out of the box and will be available from the official website starting in July, with a wider release at select US retailers planned for this fall.

The Pavilion Aero 13 is the first Pavilion laptop to feature a 90% screen-to-body ratio, offering a 13-inch display without compromising the dimensions of the hardware. This display also uses a 16:10 aspect ratio, offering a 10% increase in vertical viewing space compared to a standard 16:9 display. It has a 2.5k resolution. All of this is backed by an AMD Ryzen 7 5800U mobile processor, which improves responsiveness while working, browsing, or watching movies.

“The HP Pavilion Aero 13 is exclusive to AMD and is based on our highly efficient AMD ‘Zen 3’ core architecture, delivering impressive performance and long battery life,” said Saeid Moshkelani, senior vice president and general manager of AMD’s Client business unit, in the HP press release.
