I Am Legend 2 – First trailer | Michael B. Jordan, Will Smith
EXCLUSIVE: I Am Legend screenwriter and producer Akiva Goldsman announced yesterday that big news is coming soon regarding Warner Bros.' sequel starring Will Smith and Michael B. Jordan. We've also heard that the studio is interested in Steven Caple Jr., the filmmaker of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, as director.
Mind you, it's still very early days and no deal papers have been drawn up yet. Warners has met with a handful of directors, but the hope is that Jordan and his Creed II director Caple Jr. will work together again. I Am Legend 2, where we'll see you as first told about, would be the first time Smith and Jordan would share the screen together.
Goldsman said yesterday at Comic-Con that he had already developed a second concept for I Am Legend 2 after speaking with Jordan and Smith.
