Some possible solutions to this problem

I recently came across a client that would not print properly from Internet Explorer 7 or 8 on a Windows 7 machine. When printing from IE, the Print dialog would simply disappear and nothing would print.

Also when we tried to print preview the screen was blank except for the page number in the header and a strange file path at the bottom. The file path looked like this:

There are a number of reasons why this could be happening and there are a number of possible solutions to fix it so you can print properly in IE again.
