The frustration surrounding the VALORANT Episode Eight, Act Three map pool apparently isn’t limited to the competitive rotation. Players are now also criticizing the tactical shooter’s latest Team Deathmatch map for being poorly designed.

Proof I can Hospital Flick in Valorant

In a May 16 Reddit post, one player highlighted the Drift map's glaring issues, arguing that its extremely large playground is useless for warming up. "Why am I warming up my aim-shooting players so far away that the gun isn't even accurate anymore? Then you just get 5 people looking at you from above and below," their post reads.

While you can always take Drift’s side lanes to outmaneuver your enemies, the player notes that flanking is generally frowned upon in casual VALORANT modes like Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch—and it doesn’t do much to warm up your aim, either. “TDM was fun before this map was added, now it’s just an instant tilt whenever you load this map,” they concluded.

Of course, the community couldn’t agree more. “I fucking HATE that map and I’m practically AFK when I get it,” reads one particularly emotional comment, summing up many players’ thoughts on Drift. Another comment ironically noted that it’s based on Breeze, one of VALORANT’s most hated competitive maps in rotation.
