The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) has asked Interpol to issue a “blue notice” against Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa and four other former Philippine National Police (PNP) officials, former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV said on Wednesday (July 31).

Trillanes said the ICC prosecutor made the request when he asked the Philippine government for assistance in questioning the five former PNP officials suspected of involvement in the drug war killings that took place under the Duterte administration.
“The country has prepared a document for the Philippine government and the ICC has requested Interpol to issue a blue notice so that he can leave the immigration counters,” he said.
Trillanes said the ICC prosecutor's request to question the former police officers amounts to a subpoena.
