After the release of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, Ajay Devgn is gearing up for his upcoming projects in the second half of 2024. Fans are especially excited about the much-awaited sequel to the 2018 hit Raid. Initially, the makers had announced that the film would hit the theatres by the end of this year. However, recent updates have confirmed a significant delay in its theatrical release, leaving eager fans waiting for a little longer.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film made a strong impression when it hit theatres on 16 March 2018. The film starred Ajay Devgn as a fearless tax officer, with supporting cast including Ileana D'Cruz, Saurabh Shukla and Saanand Verma. On the technical front, Amit Trivedi composed the music, Bodhaditya Banerjee edited the film and Alphonse Roy did the cinematography.

Earlier this year, Ajay Devgn announced via X (formerly Twitter) that Raid 2 is slated for a November 15, 2024 release.
