First of all, it is important to know that this mission was introduced with the Automatons invasion event. In it, you get a new Major Order to liberate planets that are under siege by this Robot Faction. It is a Defense Campaign where you have to rescue all victims and fend off Automatons. So during the Retrieve Essential Personnel mission, you are tasked with rescuing 60 Facility Staff that are trapped on the Draupnir Planet.
While you are watching the mission briefing on the Galactic War map, it says that the mission is 40 minutes long. But as soon as you land on the planet, the countdown starts for about 15 minutes, which I think is false advertising.
