HARDY – JACK (official music video)

University of Louisville

Jack is a former Lifewire writer and a seeker of truth and a writer of words with a quantum mechanical pencil and a disjointed beat of sound and soul. Jack began his interaction with technology as a teacher in need of a computer. After enough Windows failures, Jack turned to Linux. That was in 1997 and he hasn’t looked back since. Starting in 1999, Jack began his career as a technical writer at TechRepublic, where he helped build the now defunct LinuxRepublic.com.

After writing for TechRepublic as a freelancer for fifteen years, Jack was picked up by Linux.com to cover the open source platform (while continuing to write how-to guides for TechRepublic). At that time, Jack’s focus at TechRepublic expanded to Android, Chrome OS, networking, security, mobility, and more.
