Set against the backdrop of Israel’s destruction of Gaza following the October 7 Hamas attack, “Israel: Ministers of Chaos” focuses on the most right-wing government in Israel’s history and the two men who embody its most radical initiatives: National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.

On behalf of Arte, Java has already sold the series “Israel: Ministers of Chaos” to Spanish TV3 and expects to be able to confirm more sales in the coming weeks.

The film, directed by Jérôme Sesquin and Nitzan Perelman and produced by Yuzu Productions, examines the influential role Ben-Gvir and Smotrich played in Benjamin Netanyahu's government, in deepening internal divisions in Israeli society and leading the country toward its greatest existential threat since its founding in 1948.
