Justin Baldoni is eager to pass the directorial reins of It Ends With Us to his co-star Blake Lively.

Amid rumors of behind-the-scenes drama between the cast and Baldoni, the star and director of Colleen Hoover's novel is stepping back from directing a sequel.

"I think there are better people for that movie," the Jane the Virgin alum told Entertainment Tonight about directing a sequel to the film. "I think Blake Lively is ready to direct. I think so."
